AUBURN, Ala. – The Samford women's tennis team dropped a 4-0 decision at 13^th-ranked Auburn Saturday evening at the Yarbrough Tennis Center.
 
Auburn secured the doubles point by winning the matches on the No. 2 and No. 3 courts to take a 1-0 lead. The match on the No. 1 doubles court was not finished.
 
In singles, Auburn claimed wins at No. 1, No. 2 and No. 4 to wrap up the 4-0 victory. The matches at No. 3, No. 5 and No. 6 were not finished.
 
With the loss, Samford falls to 3-5 on the season. Auburn improves to 9-3 with the win.
 
Samford will return to action on Saturday, Feb. 24, when the Bulldogs play at South Alabama. The match is scheduled to start at 11 a.m.
