MOBILE, Ala. – The Samford women's tennis team will play at South Alabama Saturday at 11 a.m.
Samford enters the match with a record of 3-5. The Bulldogs are coming off a 4-0 loss at Auburn last Saturday.
Seniors
Ellie Gerlach and
Roos van der Zwaan have held down the No. 1 and No. 2 singles positions so far this season for Samford. Both have records of 2-6, Gerlach 2-4 at No. 1 and 0-2 at No. 2, and van der Zwaan 2-4 at No. 2 and 0-2 at No. 1.
Holly Horsfall has posted a record of 4-2 (3-2 at No. 3 and 1-0 at No. 4).
Grace Jennings has a record of 3-2 (3-1 at No. 5 and 0-1 at No. 6).
Elsa Pool is currently 4-3 (1-0 at No. 3 and 3-3 at No. 4).
Arianna Beltrame has a mark of 3-0 at No. 6, while
Amanda Kilduff is 1-0, also at No. 6.
South Alabama is currently 6-1. The Jaguars are coming off a 4-0 win over Southeastern Louisiana last Sunday. South Alabama's lone loss so far this season came in a 4-3 loss at Tulane last Saturday.
