BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Samford women's tennis team will host the Murray State Racers Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Samford Tennis Center.
 
Samford enters the match with a record of 5-6. The Bulldogs are coming off a 6-1 win over UT Martin Monday afternoon.
 
Seniors Ellie Gerlach and Roos van der Zwaan have held down the No. 1 and No. 2 singles spots so far for the Bulldogs. Gerlach is 3-7 (2-4 at No. 1, 1-3 at No. 2), while van der Zwaan is 4-7 (2-3 at No. 1, 2-4 at No. 2).
 
Holly Horsfall is 6-3 (5-3 at No. 2, 1-0 at No. 4). Elsa Pool has a record of 5-5 (1-0 at No. 3, 4-5 at No. 4). Arianna Beltrame has a mark of 5-1 (2-1 at No. 5, 3-0 at No. 6). Grace Jennings has a record of 4-3 (3-1 at No. 5, 1-2 at No. 6), while Amanda Kilduff is 1-0 at No. 6.
 
Murray State is currently 4-4 on the young season. The Racers are coming off a 4-3 win at Arkansas State last Sunday. MSU will play at UAB Friday afternoon before playing at Samford Saturday.
