JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. – The Samford women's tennis team will go on the road for a key Southern Conference match at ETSU Sunday at 12 p.m. (CT).
Samford enters the match with a record of 11-7 overall and 4-0 in Southern Conference matches. ETSU is 4-2 in league play, and 9-10 overall.
Samford has won five matches in a row, and is coming off a 5-2 non-conference win over Alabama State Thursday. ETSU is coming off a 4-3 loss to Furman Friday.
Seniors
Ellie Gerlach and
Roos van der Zwaan have held down the No. 1 and No. 2 singles spots throughout the season for the Bulldogs. Gerlach is 5-12 (2-4 at No. 1, 3-8 at No. 2), while van der Zwaan is 10-8 (8-4 at No. 1, 2-4 at No. 2).
Holly Horsfall is 10-6 (9-6 at No. 3, 1-0 at No. 4).
Elsa Pool has a record of 11-6 (1-0 at No. 3, 10-6 at No. 4).
Arianna Beltrame has a mark of 11-2 (8-2 at No. 5, 3-0 at No. 6).
Grace Jennings has a record of 11-3 (3-1 at No. 5, 8-2 at No. 6), while
Amanda Kilduff is 1-0 at No. 6.
