TAMPA, Fla. – The Samford baseball team evened its series at South Florida with a 7-3 win Saturday night at the USF Baseball Stadium.

TAMPA, Fla. – The Samford baseball team evened its series at South Florida with a 7-3 win Saturday night at the USF Baseball Stadium.

- Ayrton Schafer went 4-for-5 with two doubles and two RBI to lead Samford at the plate.
- Preston Moore went 2-for-5 with a home run, a double and three RBI.
- Branden Fryman also drove in two runs in a 1-for-5 performance at the plate.
- Connor Radcliff (1-0) pitched 2.2 innings in relief, without allowing a hit to pick up the win on the mound for Samford.
- Jesse McCord started the game for Samford, tossing 4.1 innings, giving up three runs on five hits.
