SAMFORD VS. GEORGIA STATE BOX SCORE (PDF)

AUBURN, Ala. – The Samford women's tennis team dropped matches to Auburn and Georgia State Sunday, both by scores of 4-0 at the Yarbrough Tennis Center.
 
With the losses, Samford falls to 4-4 on the season. Auburn is now 10-1, while Georgia State has a record of 2-5.
 
In the Auburn match, the Tigers won the No. 2 and No. 3 doubles matches for the first point of the match. Auburn then claimed singles wins on the No. 1, No. 3 and No. 4 courts to secure the 4-0 win.
 
In the Georgia State match, GSU picked up the doubles matches at No. 2 and No. 3 to earn that point. In singles, the Panthers won the matches on courts No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3 to earn the 4-0 victory.
 
Samford will host UAB Friday, Feb. 21. The match is scheduled for a 1:30 p.m. start from the Samford Tennis Center, and admission is FREE!
