SPARTANBURG, S.C. – For the third-straight game, Samford junior quarterback Chris Oladokun was named the Southern Conference Offensive Player of the Week presented by GEICO when the league released its weekly football awards Monday morning.
 
Oladokun turned in another impressive performance in Saturday's 55-21 win over Alabama A&M. He passed for 250 yards and three touchdowns and rushed for 95 yards and another score. He completed touchdown passes of 13, 15 and 82 yards, and he ran for a six-yard score.
 
For the season, Oladokun leads the Southern Conference in passing yards per game (258.2), pass efficiency (193.4) and total offense per game (315.8).
 
Oladokun also earned the honor following his performances against Tennessee Tech and Wofford.
 
Oladokun and the Bulldogs will host The Citadel Saturday afternoon at Seibert Stadium. The game is set for a 2 p.m. start and can be seen live on ESPN+.
