BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - This week's Flashback Friday features Samford University's move to the Southern Conference in 2008. Since joining the Southern Conference in 2008, the Bulldogs have won 48 conference championships, including a school record eight titles in 2019-2020, a season shortened due to the cancellation of spring sports by COVID-19. A complete list of Samford's SoCon titles is below.

The 2019-20 campaign was a banner year for Women's athletics at Samford, as the Bulldogs captured seven SoCon titles including Soccer (RS/T), Basketball (RS/T), Volleyball (RS/T), and Track & Field (Indoor).
