BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Bulldogs, who remain undefeated in Southern Conference play, are back at Shauna Yelton Field this week to compete against the Wofford Terriers on Friday, Oct. 8th at 6 p.m., followed by a rivalry match on Sunday, Oct. 10 at 1 p.m. against the Furman Paladins.
Samford had a successful two-game road swing last week with the Bulldogs earning a 1-0 shutout against the Mercer Bears and defeating The Citadel by a 4-2 final score. With the victories, Samford now holds an overall record of 7-3-2, 4-0 (SoCon). Wofford enters the week with a current record of 3-9, 1-2 (SoCon) after falling to ETSU, 1-0, and dropping a 2-1 OT decision to Western Carolina last week. Furman sits at 5-4-1, 1-2 (SoCon) with a 3-1 loss to Western Carolina and a 3-1 victory over ETSU in the second week of Southern Conference action. The Paladins will travel to Tennessee and face the Chattanooga Mocs on Friday, Oct. 8th before heading down to Alabama to compete against the Bulldogs.

BULLDOGS TO WATCH
- Junior Taylor Yount continues to be a key attacking piece for the Samford offense, assisting senior Audrey Kleiman's game-winner in the Bulldog's 1-0 victory over Mercer, and tallying a goal in Samford's 4-2 win over The Citadel. The forward from Cape Coral, Florida now has a career 17 goals and seven assists for the Bulldogs.
- Senior Alyssa Frazier currently holds a team-high four goals and four assists on the season. The midfielder recorded her 14th career goal and 20th assist against fellow Bulldogs of The Citadel this past week. Frazier has logged a total of 17 shots with eight being on goal and 803 minutes on the pitch so far this season.
- Standout junior defender, Lindsay Origliasso, has started in all 12 games for the Bulldogs, logging a total of 1,024 minutes on the field this season. Origliasso has aided the Samford backline in five shutouts, including matches against Alabama, Jacksonville State, VMI, UNCG, and Mercer.

- Wofford has competed in 12 games so far this season, registering 123 shots with 62 being on frame for a total of nine goals. The Terriers are led offensively by Katie Gilligan and Rachel Rasins with both players logging two goals and two assists on the season.
