SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Samford's Michael McMahan, Jed Sisco and Morayo Bhadmos were all honored by the Southern Conference when the league released its weekly track and field awards Wednesday afternoon.
 
McMahan was named the Men's Track Athlete of the Week, while Sisco was tabbed as the Men's Field Athlete of the Week. Bhadmos earned Women's Field Athlete of the Week honors.
 
At the UAB Multi-Invite last week, McMahan won the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 14.29. He also finished first in the 400-meter hurdles, running the race in 53.42.
 
At the same meet, Sisco won the pole vault with a vault of 5.11 meters. Bhadmos won the triple jump at the UAB meet, with a jump of 12.32 meters.
 
Samford will next compete in the Auburn Invite, April 15-16.
