BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Samford track and field program released its 2023-24 schedule, head coach Rod Tiffin announced Thursday.
 
"We try to set our schedule up so that we are challenged during the regular season so that we are ready for postseason," Tiffin said. "This year's team should be able to handle the competition and grow from it."
 
The indoor season is highlighted by a pair of home meets, the Samford Invitational, Jan. 18-19, and the Bulldog Invitational, Feb. 9-10, both to be held at the Birmingham Cross Plex. The Southern Conference Indoor Championships will be held Feb. 24-25, in Lexington, Va., while the NCAA Indoor Championships are scheduled for Mar. 8-9 in Boston, Mass.
 
During the outdoor season, Samford will compete in meets at Power 5 schools Alabama, Auburn, Mississippi State and North Carolina State. Samford will host the 2024 SoCon Outdoor Championships, May 6-7, at Cameron Bean Track. The NCAA Regionals are set for May 22-25 in Lexington, Ky., and the NCAA Outdoor Championships will be held June 5-8 in Eugene, Ore.
