Volleyball Announces 2023 Spring Schedule

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Head Coach Keylor Chan of the Samford Volleyball Team has announced four dates that make up the Bulldogs' 2023 Spring Schedule.

"Spring season is a time for individual skill development and integrating those skills into team concepts," Chan said. "Our emphasis will truly be on growing as individuals and a team. Our four competition dates will be used as litmus tests to evaluate our process of improvement. Beyond the court, we also will be focused on leadership and providing an environment for our next generation of leaders to thrive. We are excited about the opportunities and possibilities in this chapter of Samford Volleyball."

Highlighting the Bulldogs' spring slate is a home tournament on March 25 they will host West Florida and Troy.

The Bulldogs begin the spring with a March 2 matchup at UAB, and will also play road matches against Lipscomb at United Volleyball Club (Huntsville, Ala.) on March 29 and at Alabama on April 2. A Full schedule can be found below.

Samford volleyball is coming off a 2022 campaign that saw them finish 19-13 and capture their fifth SoCon Championship in seven years under Coach Chan.

2022 Samford Volleyball Spring Schedule (Times TBD)
March 2 – at UAB
March 25 – vs. West Florida/Troy
March 29 – vs. Lipscomb (United Volleyball Club – Huntsville, Ala.)
April 2 – at Alabama
