Today was a tough start for Jake," Head Coach Tony Davis said. He was pressed into emergency duty when Ross couldn't go at the last minute. We lost the zone early with walks and hit by pitches and were behind the eight ball immediately. We did have some guys throw well late and proud of the way we battled for nine. We had some really good swings the last few innings. We'll be back at it tomorrow with a chance to take one on get away day. Then we'll get home to make adjustments, try and get healthy, and get better."
The third and final game between the Bulldogs and Lions will take place on Sunday, Feb. 26 at 1:00 p.m. from Hammond, La.
