BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Samford women's tennis team competed in UAB's Blazer Battle, held Friday through Sunday.
 
Samford was joined in the tournament by UAB, Jacksonville State, Lipscomb and Southern Mississippi.
 
In singles, Margaret Jaraczewski, Eleni Liakonis, Grace Keller and Bella Theodore each earned wins for the Bulldogs. In doubles, Meredith Taylor and Eleni Liakonis went 3-0, while Emily Surcey and Keller posted a record of 2-1. Margaret Jaraczewski and Hailey Troup also earned two doubles wins.

Samford will wrap up the fall season by competing in the College of Charleston Fall Invite, Nov. 1-2.
