SPARTANBURG, S.C. –The Southern Conference released its 2025 league football schedule Thursday afternoon.
 
Samford's first league game will be on Sept. 6 when the Bulldogs play host to The Citadel. On Sept. 20, Samford will play at Western Carolina. The Bulldogs will then return home to play host to Furman on Sept. 27.
 
A trip to 2024 SoCon champion Mercer is scheduled for Oct. 4. Samford will play at VMI on Oct. 18, followed by a home game against Chattanooga on Oct. 25.
 
On Nov. 1, Samford will play at Wofford. The SoCon portion of Samford's schedule will wrap up with a home game against ETSU on Nov. 8.
 
Samford's full 2025 schedule will be released at a later date. A full list of Samford's 2025 SoCon games is below.
