BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- The Samford men's basketball team will return home to play host to the Furman Paladins Wednesday night at the Pete Hanna Center. The game can be seen live on ESPN+.

Samford and Furman have met 36 previous times, with Furman owning a 26-10 series lead. The teams met earlier this season, with Furman taking a 78-68 win in Greenville, S.C.

Samford enters Wednesday night's game with a mark of 23-4 overall and 12-2 in SoCon play. The Bulldogs most recently played at Mercer last Saturday, with the Bears coming away with an 88-84 win over the Bulldogs. Samford has won 23 of its last 25 games.

Marshall enters Wednesday night's game just 13 points away from reaching the 1,000-point mark for his college career. He has scored 944 points at Samford and 43 points at Akron for a career total of 987.
