BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Samford men's basketball team will have single-season three-point record holder Jadin Booth compete in a Samford uniform one more time as he has been selected to compete in the State Farm 3-Point Championship. The event will take place on Friday, April 3, at 7 p.m. ET at Hinkle Fieldhouse in Indianapolis and will be televised nationally at 1:30 p.m. ET on Sunday, April 5 on ESPN.

In his lone season with the Bulldogs, Booth led the nation in three-point makes and makes per game. He finished with 127 makes from behind the arc, which was a single-season school record. The graduate scored 21.6 points per game and was named the SoCon Player of the Year and Newcomer of the Year. 

The Nebraska native led the Southern Conference in scoring as he closed the season with 40 points on senior night against UNCG and 34 points in the SoCon Tournament against Furman. He shot 44 percent from three on nearly 10 attempts per game. His 11 threes against UNCG set a single-game school record.
