SAMFORD'S 2024-25 SOCON SCHEDULE

SPARTANBURG, S.C. -- The Southern Conference released its conference schedule for the 2024-25 men's basketball season Tuesday afternoon.
 
Samford enters the upcoming season looking to win a third-straight SoCon regular season title and a second-consecutive SoCon Tournament championship. Last season, the Bulldogs posted a record of 29-6 overall and 15-3 in league play, winning the SoCon regular season and tournament championships and reaching the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2000.
 
Samford opens Southern Conference play with a home game against The Citadel on Jan. 1, 2025. The Bulldogs will then travel to Western Carolina on Jan. 4, followed by back-to-back home contests against VMI on Jan, 9 and UNC Greensboro on Jan. 11.
 
Samford will travel to Mercer on Jan. 15, followed by a home game against ETSU on Jan, 18 and a game at Chattanooga on Jan. 22. After a home game against Wofford on Jan, 25, the Bulldogs will play at Furman on Jan. 29 and at The Citadel on Feb. 1.
 
The Bulldogs will then host Mercer on Feb. 5 and then will play at ETSU on Feb. 8. Samford will host Chattanooga on Feb. 12, followed by a game at Wofford on Feb. 15 and then back-to-back home games against Furman on Feb. 19 and Western Carolina on Feb. 22.
 
Samford will close out the regular season with road games at VMI on Feb. 27 and UNC Greensboro on Mar. 1. Samford's full schedule will be released at a later time.
