BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Samford women's tennis team opened its fall season by hosting the first of two Samford Round Robin tournaments this weekend at the Samford Tennis Center.
 
Samford was joined in the event by UAB, South Alabama and Memphis.
 
In singles, Samford won four of six matches from Memphis, split three matches with South Alabama and split three contests with UAB. In doubles, Samford split with Memphis, fell 2-1 to South Alabama and 3-0 to UAB.
 
A full list of Samford's results in this weekend's tournament is below. Samford will next host its second Samford Round Robin, Oct. 4-6.
