BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Samford soccer team will play host to the Wofford Terriers for Samford's annual Shauna's House game Friday evening at 6 p.m. at Shauna Yelton Field.
 
At Friday night's game, the Samford soccer program will be raising money for Shauna's House. The team will be wearing special jerseys for the occasion, which will be auctioned off. Fans can also give directly to the cause and the following link: GIVE TO SHAUNA'S HOUSE.
 
Samford and Wofford have met 19 previous times, with Samford holding a 15-0-4 series lead. Last season, the teams met in Spartanburg, S.C., with the Bulldogs earning a 5-0 victory over the Terriers. Samford has won the last 14-straight meetings, with the last game that Samford did not win coming in 2009 in a 0-0 draw.
 
Samford enters this game with a record of 4-6-1 overall and 1-1 in the SoCon. The Bulldogs opened Southern Conference play with a 2-0 loss at defending champion Western Carolina. The Bulldogs then earned a 1-0 win at Chattanooga.

For Samford so far this season, the Bulldogs have been led by Layton Glisson and Ella Simpson with two goals and one assist each. Fleming Dean has also scored two goals for the Bulldogs.

Brooklyn Miller has tallied a goal and three assists so far this season. Additionally, Caroline Donovan and Sarah Holland have one goal and one assist each, while Hanna Rae Himes, Anna Major, Anna Martin, Alexa Minestrella and Sam De Luca have one goal apiece.

In goal for Samford Peyton Hull has played 573 minutes with a 2.20 goals against average, while Mia Krusinski has played 360 minutes with a 2.25 GAA. Emma Donley has played 57 minutes and has not allowed a goal.

Wofford enters Friday night's contest with a mark of 5-5-1 overall and 1-1 in SoCon action. The Terriers lost to Chattanooga, 2-1, and defeated The Citadel, 4-3 in their first two SoCon game.

Wofford has been led so far this season by Ines Obradovac with seven goals and two assists. Megan Childress has five goals and three assists for Wofford. Rylee Godblold and Elzabeth Navola have split time in goal for the Terriers.
