Greer Golden and sophomore setter
Shea Bruntmyer were named the Southern Conference weekly awards.
Golden was named the SoCon's Offensive Player of The Week after her top performance during the Bulldogs two home matches. She set a school record 1.00 match hitting percentage along with tallying 22 kills from both matches.
Bruntmyer was named the SoCon's Setter of The Week after collecting 29 assists against WCU and 26 against Chattanooga. This is the third time this season that she has earned this honor.
Next up, Samford will host Mercer on Friday, Nov. 14
th. The match is set for a 6:30 p.m. start from the Pete Hanna Center.
