BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Samford cross country team is set to run for the second time this season as they head to Tallahassee, Fla. to compete in the FSU XC Invite tomorrow.
The Samford men's team will kick off the meet with the 8k race starting at 6:40 a.m. followed by the women's 6k race at 7:20 a.m. Apalachee Regional Park hosts the meet after last season's race was canceled due to inclement weather.Â
In their opening race this season, the Bulldogs finished third on the men's side and fourth on the women's at the Foothills Invitational, hosted by Jacksonville State.
Arthur Langley,
William Jordan, and
David Brown were the top Samford runners as they finished as a group in 14th, 15th, and 16th as Brown and Jordan finished with personal records.  Reigning SoCon Freshman of the YearÂ
Felicity Hamilton came in eighth place with a time of 17:59 whileÂ
Gaby Boutros andÂ
Bela Doss ran strong races, coming in 15th and 16th, respectively.
