GAME NOTES -- SAMFORD at CHATTANOOGA 

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. - The Samford men's basketball team continues play in the Southern Conference tomorrow as they battle with Chattanooga on the road. Tip is set for 3:30 pm Central time as the Bulldogs enter with a 9-7 record overall and 2-1 in SoCon play while the Mocs enter with a 6-10 mark and are 0-3 in league play.

The Bulldogs and Mocs are meeting for the 115th time in program history. Chattanooga leads the all-time series 68-46, with Samford winning three of the last four contests. In their last game, the Bulldogs defeated Western Carolina 82-77 at the Pete Hanna Center in their SoCon home opener.

Jadin Booth led the way for the Bulldogs, scoring a game-high 33 points in his third 30-point game of the season. He currently leads the country in three pointers per game at 4.07 makes per game. Playing without Dylan Faulkner, Will Shaver stepped into a larger role in the paint and delivered with a career-high 11 points while playing 21 minutes. Kam Martin provided another spark off the bench as he went 4-of-4 from the field and 3-of-3 from three as he finished with 11 points. Starting point guard Keaton Norris finished with 11 points and added three steals on the defensive end.

The Dogs shot 54 percent from the field and from three in the second half and shot a season-high 19-of-21 from the line against the Catamounts. Booth leads the SoCon in scoring at 20.2 ppg while Faulkner continues to lead in blocks with 1.9 per game. 

The Mocs are coming off a 78-67 loss against Furman in their previous game. Head coach Dan Earl is in his fourth season at Chattanooga and is coming off a 29-9 record last season. Chattanooga was picked to finish first in the SoCon Preseason Coaches Poll. Jakari Johnson, Collin Mulholland, and Teddy Washington Jr. were all named Preseason All-Conference Players. Jordan Frison leads the Mocs in scoring with 14.8 points per game.
