LEXINGTON, Va. – The Samford men's and women's indoor track and field teams will compete in the Southern Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships on Friday and Saturday at the VMI Corps Physical Training Facility.
Both Samford teams will be looking to continue their recent dominance at the event. The Samford men's team has won six SoCon titles in a row, while the women have earned 10-straight championships.
The Samford men's team returns several athletes who won individual SoCon titles last season.
Bradley Franklin (60-meter hurdles),
Jaggerd Moore (high jump),
Bryce Davis (shot put) and
Ethan Womack (heptathlon), as well as the team that won the 4x400 meter relay all return to the team this season.
On the women's side, Lizzie Pardue (400-meter dash),
Dorsey Parker (high jump) and
Libby Jackson (pole vault) as well as the 4x400-meter relay winners return.
Events will begin at 12 p.m. (CT) on Friday and at 8 a.m. (CT) on Saturday. Saturday's action will be broadcast live on ESPN+ and there will be live results available on both days. For links to follow all of the action click on the following link:
