Previous College: Spent two seasons at Coastal Carolina . . . in 2012, saw action in 32 games, including 23 starts . . . batted .216 with seven doubles, three home runs and nine RBI.

High School: Prepped at Pelham High School . . . named first team All-State . . . named honorable mention Louisville Slugger All-American . . . also participated in football.
