Samford University Athletics

Great fit for the Samford program . . . not only an extremely talented right-handed pitcher, but also a good student that comes from a great family . . . competed for one of the premier summer programs in the country, the Ohio Warhawks . . . possesses a lot of big-game experience and is expected to develop even further throughout his collegiate career.

2017 (Sophomore):  Earned 14 appearances on the season, all in relief . . . finished the year with nine strikeouts in 11.2 innings of action . . . notched a season-high 1.2 innings of relief against ETSU in the Southern Conference Tournament . . . tallied a season-high two strikeouts against Jacksonville State on May 16 . . . earned his second varsity letter.


 
2016 (Freshman):  Led the Bulldogs with a 2.31 earned run average . . . logged 20 appearances for the Bulldogs, all in relief . . . notched a perfect 1-0 record and tallied 24 strikeouts in only 23.1 innings pitched . . . only allowed six earned runs on the year . . . earned his first varsity letter.


 
High School:  Starred at Houston High School in Germantown, Tenn., where he proved to be a hard-throwing right-handed pitcher who was already in the 87-91 mile-per-hour range . . . competed for HHS, which is one of the top high school programs in Tennessee . . . closed out his prep career as the ace pitcher of the staff at HHS . . . joins former high school teammate Jake Greer at Samford.
