2017 (Sophomore): Earned playing time in 57 of the team’s 59 games and started in 55 contests, all but two of which were in right field . . . closed out the year with a .273 batting average, 36 runs and 25 RBI . . . blasted five home runs, two triples and 11 doubles . . . registered 18 multi-hit games on the season, including an impressive four-hit outing against Alabama A&M on April 25 . . . blasted a walk-off homer to defeat Eastern Michigan, 4-3, as he roped a 1-2 offering high over the wall in right field . . . finished 4-for-5 in stolen-base attempts . . . scored a season-high six runs against Alabama A&M on April 25 . . . smacked three doubles against Wofford on April 22, in Spartanburg, S.C. . . . earned his second varsity letter.
2016 (Freshman): Finished the season with a team-best .364 batting average (16-of-44) and started 11 games for the Bulldogs . . . earned playing time in 30 of the team’s 61 games and posted two home runs on the season . . . concluded the year with eight runs scored, seven RBI, three doubles and eight bases on balls . . . earned his first varsity letter.
High School: Competed at Tates Creek High School in Lexington, Ky., and closed out his prep career as the No. 1-ranked first baseman in Kentucky . . . also proved to be the No. 69-ranked first baseman in the nation . . . big, physical left-handed hitter who is a great athlete, moves well and hits for power . . . proved to be a two-sport star, as he also turned in an outstanding basketball career at TCHS.
