Michael McGreevey is in his first year as the Director of Ticket Sales and Customer Service for the Samford University Athletics Department. It will be his second season with the department as McGreevey came to Samford in July of 2010 as the Ticket Sales and Customer Service Assistant.
McGreevey will oversee all ticket office functions, including ticket sales, customer service, marketing, promotions and game day ticket operations for all ticketed sports.
McGreevey came to Samford from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville where he finished a Master[apos]s degree in Sports Management in May 2010. While working toward this degree, he worked for the Lady Vol event management department and assisted with game day operations for women[apos]s basketball, soccer, volleyball, golf and softball. McGreevey also served as an intern for the CHAMPS / Life Skills program and focused on career development and personal development initiatives for all Tennessee student-athletes.
McGreevey is a native of Pelham, Ala., and earned his bachelor[apos]s degree in History from Henderson State University located in Arkadelphia, Ark., in 2006. He is married to the former Brandi Gullett of Cabot, Arkansas and they reside in nearby Vestavia Hills.
