LEXINGTON, Ky.--The Samford women's tennis team fell at 15^th-ranked Kentucky, 4-0, Sunday morning at Boone Tennis Complex.
 
Samford falls to 3-6 with the loss. Kentucky improves to 10-1, earning its ninth-straight win.
 
Kentucky started the match by earning the double point with wins at both No. 1 and No. 2. At No. 1, Justina Mikulskyte and Akvile Parazinskaite defeated Jessica Northcutt and Carita Moolman, 6-1. Nadia Ravita and Kirsten Lewis then earned a 6-3 victory over Iva Parapunova and Ellie Gerlach at No. 2 to secure the point.
 
The Wildcats finished off the match with singles wins at No. 3, No. 1 and No. 4. At No. 3, Ravita defeated Parapunova, 6-0, 6-3. Mikulskyte earned a 6-4, 6-1 win over Northcutt at the No. 1 spot. On the fourth court, Mami Adachi defeated Savannah Wood, 6-3, 6-2, to end the match.
 
Samford will return to action on March 6, when the Bulldogs host UT Martin. The match is set to begin at 3 p.m. at the Samford Tennis Complex.
