PINEHURST, N.C. – Samford freshman Connor Reid is currently in fourth place out of 40 golfers at the Southern Conference Championships after the second day of competition Monday at Pinehurst No. 9 (Par 72, 7,118 yards).

Reid has two-round total of one-under-par 143 (69-74). UNCG's Nick Lyerly currently leads the event with a two-day score of 138 (69-69).

As a team, Samford sits in seventh place in the event. The Bulldogs have a two-day score of 610 (297-313). UNCG leads the eight-team tournament with a two-day score of 577 (283-294).
