KENNESAW, Ga. – The Samford men's golf team finished in a tie for fifth at the Pinetree Intercollegiate, hosted by Kennesaw State at Pinetree Country Club (par 72, 7,108 yards) Monday and Tuesday.
Sophomore
Andrew Sullivan paced the team, finishing in a tie for sixth in the 66-player field. Sullivan finished with a one-under-par 215 (73-70-72).
Davis Woodliff tied for 17
th with a three-round score of 218 (76-72-70), while
Dylan Moncus finished in a tie for 25
th at 222 (71-75-76).
Brian Boles finished the tournament in a tie for 35
th with a three-round final score of 225 (75-74-76).
Craig Sanders tied for 65
th at 244 (86-84-74).
As a team, Samford fired a three-round score of 878 (295-291-292), tying the Bulldogs with Belmont for fifth. The host school, Kennesaw State won the event with a final score of 861 (292-286-283).
Samford will return to action Oct. 23-24 at the Grandover Collegiate, hosted by UNCG.
