SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Samford senior
McKenzie Hogue was named the Southern Conference's Women's Runner of the Week when the league released its weekly cross-country awards Wednesday afternoon.
Hogue finished 10
th out of 384 runners at the UNA Showcase last Friday. The Alabaster, Ala., native ran the 5,000-meter race in 16:56.69 to lead the team and place 10
th overall.
Samford will next compete in the Louisville Cross-Country Classic, Oct. 1.
