GAME NOTES--SAMFORD VS. WOFFORD (PDF)

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- The Samford men's basketball team will return home to play host to the Wofford Terriers on Wednesday, Jan. 31. The game is set for a 6:30 p.m. start from the Pete Hanna Center.
 
Samford and Wofford have met 29 previous times, with Wofford holding a 22-7 series lead. Last season, the teams split the two games, with each team winning at home. Samford earned an 83-58 win in the Pete Hanna Center, and Wofford took an 85-77 win in Spartanburg.
 
Samford enters Wednesday night's game with a mark of 18-3 overall and 7-1 in SoCon play. The Bulldogs most recently played at ETSU on Saturday afternoon, with Samford earning a 75-72 win over the Bucs. Samford has won 18 of its last 19 games.
 
Entering Wednesday night's game, Samford is led by junior Achor Achor, averaging 16.2 points and 5.9 rebounds per game, leading the team in both categories. Junior A.J. Staton-McCray is averaging 13.1 points and 4.8 rebounds per game. Rylan Jones leads the team in assists, dishing out 5.5 assists per contest.
