GREENSBORO, Ga. – The Samford men's golf team finished seventh at the Southern Conference Men's Golf Championship, held Sunday through Tuesday at The Oconee Course (Par 72, 7,174 yards).
Samford finished with a three-round score of 889 (302-300-287) to place seventh. ETSU won the event with a final team score of 834 (275-279-280).
Senior
Davis Woodliff turned in a stellar final round, shooting a two-under-par 70 to finish in a tie for 15
th in the 40-player field with a three-round total of 218 (76-72-70).
Damin Strydom shot a 71 in Tuesday's final round to place in a tie for 22
nd at 221 (79-71-71).
Matthew Smith finished in a tie for 30
th with a three-round total of 225 (71-80-74).
Taylor Kuehn tied for 34
th at 228 (77-78-73), while
Andrew Sullivan placed 37
th at 230 (78-79-73).
The SoCon Championship ended the 2023-24 season for Samford men's golf.
