HILTON HEAD, S.C. – The Samford men's golf team sits in eighth place after the first two rounds of the Wexford Intercollegiate, held Monday at the Wexford Golf Club.
After the first two rounds, Samford has a total score of 16-over-par 592 (297-295), placing the Bulldogs eighth in the 18-team field. College of Charleston leads the field with a nine-under-par 567 (284-283).
Individually for Samford,
Gavin Isbell (74-69) and
Campbell Sciortino (69-74) are both tied for 10
th place in the 90-player field with identical one-under-par two-round scores of 143.
Jack Mikesell is tied for 41
st with a score of 150 (74-76), while
Tiaan Hugo is tied for 74
th with a score of 157 (81-76),
Nolen Wolfe is tied for 80
th with a score of 158 (80-78).
