One of the most accomplished pitchers in his class coming out of high school . . . led his team to a state championship and really has a knack for competing on the mound . . . has added a tremendous amount of arm strength over the last couple years and is expected to have a weekend starting spot this season.
 
2016 (Junior):  Finished the year as one of the Bulldogs’ top starting pitchers . . . compiled a 4-1 record on the mound in 10 starts . . . closed out the season with 12 appearances and 40 strikeouts in 45.1 innings pitched . . . earned his first varsity letter.
 
2014-15 (Previous College):  Spent two years at Snead State Community College in Boaz, Ala., where he was the No. 1 starter on staff . . . boasts velocity in the 88-92 mile-per-hour range and will provide some instant experience to a young talented Samford staff in 2016.
 
High School:  Prepped at Westbrook Christian High School in Rainbow City, Ala., where he helped lead his team to an Alabama state championship title.
