2022 (Junior): Played in 54 contests while being penciled in for 48 starts … knocked 43 hits in 170 at-bats, for an average of .253 … led the team with 15 stolen bases on 18 attempts … slugged .447 …  clubbed nine home runs, four doubles, and one triple … registered 12 multi-hit games, including a trio of three-hit performances … accounted for seven multi-RBI efforts… tallied a season-high four hits, including a pair of home runs, against UNC Greensboro on April 23 … socked the first of two grand slams in an 8-6 win over reigning national champions Mississippi State on May 10.

Previous College: Transferred to Samford from LSU where he played both baseball and football . . . in 2021, he appeared in five games as a reserve outfielder, going 2-for-4 at the plate with one double, one RBI and three runs scored . . . in 2020, he played in 10 games, starting seven contests, batting .231 (6-for-26) with one double, three RBI, five runs scored and two stolen bases . . . in football, he was a part of LSU’s 2019 national championship team.
 
High School: Prepped at Memphis University High School . . . ranked as the No. 23 baseball player in the country by Perfect Game and No. 40 by Prep Baseball Report … as a senior on the baseball diamond, hit .480 with 10 home runs and 41 stolen bases and was named the Tennessee Baseball Coaches Association’s DII-AA Mr. Baseball … named 2018 Tennessee Titans Mr. Football in Division II-AAA; he’s the first player in Tennessee history to earn Mr. Football and Mr. Baseball honors in the same season … led his football team to a state title appearance as a senior with 1,835 all-purpose yards and 15 touchdowns as a receiver and punt returner … competed in the 2019 Under Armour All-America baseball and football games, and he also competed in the Perfect Game Baseball All-America game in San Diego.
