High School: Prepped at nearby Mountain Brook High School… was the second-ranked right-handed pitcher and No. 9 overall player in the state of Alabama by Perfect Game USA…rated as the No. 4 right-hander in the state by Prep Baseball Report…earned Rawlings-Perfect Game Honorable Mention All-America accolades as a junior at MBHS…a two-sport athlete at Mountain Brook, also competed in basketball as a freshman and sophomore for the Spartans.
